DESCRIPTION:You may have heard of the Feral and you want to be bold\,\nWe know it will be hot cos it’s never bloody cold!\nOnce a year this event comes around for us all\nIs now the time for you to stand up and be tall? \nSo you’re new to the trails and you want to explore\,\nYou’ve seen parts of the hills and you want to see more.\nYou’re an old firm at the trails and you need a test\,\nYou want climbs\, trails and views and all that is best. \nYour inner Feral is calling and you want to commit\,\nIf you want epic and challenging\, then this is legit.\nThe Pork Chop at 23k is great for a start\,\nThe stairs and the climbs will raise the beat of your heart. \nThe Sow 50k is cruel with the midday sun\,\nYou start at noon which sounds not so much fun.\nBut as the day progresses and the sun starts to fall\,\nThe views and colours through the valleys are the best of them all. \nOr is the Boar 50 Miler calling your name?\nAre you crazy or weird or just a little insane?\nYou run all through the day from dawn to sunset\,\nAt 80 odd k this could be your longest run yet? \nBut why stop at 80 when there’s the 100k Wild Swine\,\nYou get to pass twice through that teasing finish line!\nBut that bonus few k going past the weir\,\nTakes in magical trails and makes you earn that beer! \nBut the pinnacle of them all is the 100 Mile Feral Pig\,\nThey say go home or go hard\, test yourself and go big.\nIt takes you to places heavenly and evil so be ready\,\nThis is not for one to be arrogant\, be smart and be steady. \n100 Miles on those trails takes courage and grit\,\nYes\, you need to be strong\, but more importantly mental fit.\nBut that glory of the finish which has thus far only seen few\nIs worth it for that finish line hug given from me to you. \nNow the time has come for you to set your race plan\,\nChoose your distance and goals and dream like you can.\nSo chuck on your runners and prepare your happy dance\,\nCos all we are saying is give pigs a chance.
